- Myla Abernathy, a senior on the Catonsville High School track team, won the 800-meter race at the Pikesville Track Classic. Abernathy's winning time was 2:18.92 on Apr 2. (Baltimore Sun)
- Kolby Weedon of Catonsville helped the Division I UMBC girls lacrosse team win 12 to 11 against UMass-Lowell. Weedon scored a goal with four minutes and 34 seconds left in the game, which tied the score. Her teammate then scored the winning goal with 15 seconds left in the game. Weedon scored three goals during the game, a hat trick. (Baltimore Sun)
- All Baltimore County kids are invited to head over to nearby Randallstown on Apr. 23 for an upcoming Cops & Kids Basketball session with the Baltimore County PD! The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Randallstown Community Center (in Brenbrook Plaza Shopping Center) and is open to children ages 7 to 15. Kids can register in person with a parent or guardian or parent day-of in person or online at baltimorecountymd.gov. (Baltimore County Police Department)
