Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:

  1. Yesterday, Feb. 10, after a 39-hour manhunt, Baltimore County Police arrested 24-year-old David Emory Linthicum, accused of shooting two officers. The first injured Baltimore County Police officer was shot on Wednesday, taken to the hospital, and later released. The second detective was shot multiple times during the search for Linthicum and is now on life support, according to Shock Trauma Dr. Thomas Scalea. (NBC News)
  2. On Feb. 9, Maryland’s chief judges proposed legislation removing home addresses and phone numbers of current and former judicial officers of the state from the Internet. Senate Bill 221 would offer the judges more protection from personal attacks at their homes. Maryland District Court Chief Judge John Morrissey cited seven “credible threats” made against district court judges last year, including a Molotov cocktail thrown at the Catonsville district courthouse last Apr. 5.   3. Patapsco Heritage Greenway is hosting a "Stream Cleanup" on Sunday, Feb. 19.
