  1. In nearby Owings Mills on the 10500 block of Reisterstown Road, a man was pronounced dead after being stabbed on Monday, Nov. 7. The Baltimore County Police are investigating the homicide and say it appears to be an isolated incident. The name and age of the victim were not released and police declined to say whether a suspect was in custody. (Subscription: Baltimore Sun)
  2. Due to the recent spike in violence in the Baltimore County Public Schools, one parent has pulled her teenage son from school to keep him safe. After her son was involved in multiple fights at Perry Hall High School, Tiffany Moyd filed charges against the two students who allegedly attacked her son. Moyd said, "To be honest with you, I'm so over it here in Baltimore, I want to move out the state. That's how fed up I am with Baltimore County, the school system." (Fox Baltimore)
