  1. Baltimore County Police rescued an injured man who was trapped under a Metro train in nearby Pikesville on Thursday, Dec. 1. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. (Subscription: Baltimore Sun)

The Baltimore County Department of Economic and Workforce Development will host its first-ever government-focused career fair on Dec. 15 at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Catonsville campus. The event will "connect residents with opportunities across Baltimore County government and help put their skills and interests to work supporting our families, friends, and neighbors," according to Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski.
