  1. Yesterday, Jan. 10, Baltimore County Police took a female student into custody after a stabbing occurred seriously at Lansdowne High School. The victim, a 15-year-old female student, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski said he expects the student suspect to be "held fully accountable for this outrageous and unacceptable behavior" and is "praying for a full and speedy recovery to the injured student."   2. New data from the Maryland State Department of Education shows how school districts are disciplining students after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the data, Baltimore County Public Schools had the most out-of-school suspensions and expulsions during the 2021-2022 school year in Maryland. (Fox Baltimore)
  3. A family living in the Hereford Zone in Baltimore County has created a petition to save their beloved pet, a rooster named Wilbur. According to a petition on Change.org, neighbors of the family have filed complaints with animal services about Wilbur's crowing which resulted in a $4650 fine. The family wants to fight the complaints in court and is asking for 1,500 signatures to present in their case and money for court fees. (WMAR 2 News)
