According to a new 2022 public school ranking released on Tuesday by U.S. News and World Report, the Western School of Technology and Environmental Science (WSTES) in Catonsville ranked highly in the nation, state, and the greater Baltimore area. On the list of 500 best public schools in the nation, WSTES ranked number 366. On the list of 211 best public schools in Maryland, WSTES ranked number six.   2. On Saturday, Apr. 30, "Purple Stride" will be held at CCBC in Catonsville. Thousands will wear purple and walk to raise money to fight pancreatic cancer. For more information, click here. (WMAR 2 News)
