Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:
- The Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library is hosting "The Big Give" this upcoming Wednesday, May 18, to raise funds for the library system. The foundation will have food and events planned throughout the day at its library branches, including at the Catonsville Branch from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a free concert featuring a local band, Bad w/ Names, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the rooftop of the Towson Garage behind the Towson Branch. - Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS) is hiring cafeteria workers, building service workers, grounds workers, bus attendants, bus drivers, and more. BCPS is also looking for teachers from kindergarten to grade 12 for the Remote Teaching Position with the Virtual Learning Program. (BCPS)
- The Catonsville High School baseball team lost 2 to 0 against Dundalk on Thursday. The Dundalk pitcher, Mekhi Mancuso, threw 14 strikeouts in the Class 4A North Region I quarterfinal. (Baltimore Sun)
