Catonsville Counselor Shows Students 'How To See The Good In Humanity'

CATONSVILLE, MD — Great teachers matter. Catonsville High School has a professional dedicated to helping children to thrive, learn and overcome anything that stands in the way! We’re fortunate to have educators like Todd Pinson.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

As a devoted team player working alongside our teachers to ensure the same goal and in an absolutely superior way alongside our other exceptional teachers.

He may not teach academics, but he does teach something just as important. He shows these children how to see the good in humanity and the opportunity to see themselves in a whole new light — in return creating the strongest foundation for the teachers to further build upon which they can continue to build upon for years.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

The way Todd Pinson has done for my child and bettering our family as a whole. It's something that is not graded or maybe even documented. But one thing is undeniably noticed is the impact he has on creating confidence in our children and impact he has had on my child's mental health has allowed her to start to blossom academically after missing almost half the school year after tragically losing her father. For all these reasons and more, please take the time to see for yourself the spotlight that he shines on our children's lives.... A plus teacher in my book...
