Catonsville Crime: Man Used Knife to Steal Cigarettes

The following information is provided by the Baltimore County Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following are summaries of incidents that occurred in Precinct One/Wilkens of the Baltimore County Police Department.

Armed robbery: 12:19 p.m. July 9. A man walked into the Sam's Club on Baltimore National Pike and went to the cigarette section. Once inside, he displayed a blue knife to the cashier and stole cigarettes.

First-degree assault: 7:25 p.m. July 14. A woman was asked to leave a business at 6541 Baltimore National Pike. The suspect pushed the victim into a window, breaking it. While driving away, the suspect also struck the victim with her vehicle.

First-degree burglary: Sometime between 3 p.m. May 18 and 12 p.m.  June 26. Ten gold coins were reported stolen from a home on the unit block of River Road.
