  1. Ranjith Keerikkattil, a 34-year-old of Catonsville, was sentenced to an 11-month prison term for stalking a junior co-worker. After being found guilty in 2018, he ran to Australia and became a fugitive for over four years. He now faces a felony charge of violating the Bail Reform Act and faces trial on Jan. 4, 2023. (Department of Justice)
  2. Yesterday, Dec. 1, there was another threat to Towson High School, a nearby Baltimore County school. Baltimore County Police said the latest threats were unsubstantiated, just like the ones that were made two weeks ago. The police increased their presence at the school out of caution and to treat every threat seriously. (WMAR 2 News)
  3. Baltimore County and Baltimore City will receive a portion of the $537.5 million
    settlement
    from the nationwide class action lawsuit over PCB (polychlorinated biphenyls) contamination in municipal water systems. The settlement was reached after cases were filed against chemical maker Monsanto, Solutia Inc., and Pharmacia LLC. (Conduit Street: MD Association of Counties)
