Catonsville Pentecostal Bishop Gets Suspended Sentence

Roan S. Faulkner, the pentecostal bishop who pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and faced allegations of sexual assualt, received a suspended sentence Wednesday.

According to the Baltimore Sun, the pastor of faced an 18-month sentence when he appeared in Baltimore County Circuit Court.

Faulkner and had faced seven counts, including attempted second-degree rape.

In court on Wednesday, Judge Thomas J. Bollinger Sr. said the charges should be a "wake-up call" for Faulkner but that Faulkner had also already been punished in part.
