Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. Yesterday, Feb. 6, federal prosecutors announced that 27-year-old Brandon Russell of Orlando and 34-year-old Sarah Clendaniel of Catonsville have been charged with conspiracy to damage an energy facility and face up to 20 years in prison if convicted. According to the federal complaint, Russell, the leader of a neo-Nazi group from Florida, plotted with his girlfriend, Clendaniel, to destroy electrical substations in the Baltimore area. Less than two weeks ago, Clendaniel was recorded telling an FBI informant about the plan. (Courthouse News)
  2. Marge Donovan of Catonsville is joining the the University of Maryland Terrapins women's lacrosse team for her last year of college eligibility. Dovovan was named the Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 while playing at Princeton. (USA Lax Magazine)
