Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

1. As part of the eighth annual Maryland STEM Festival, Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC)-Catonsville will host the Blue Collar STEM Conference from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29. Anyone interested in careers in science, technology, engineering, and math are encouraged to come. (WBAL-TV Baltimore)
2. Catonsville High School senior Bryan Barrientos, tri-captain of the boys soccer team, scored the winning goal in the Class 4A North Region I quarterfinals. The fourth-seeded Comets won four to three against fifth-seeded Perry Hall. The Catonsville High School girls soccer team also won their quarterfinal, 15 to zero against Parkville.
