1. The Catonsville Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers for the Free Community Health Fair. The Health Fair is looking for specialists of all types willing to volunteer their time and efforts to a great cause. 3. On Nov. 1, 1864, Maryland freed all slaves in the state thanks to a new constitution. This weekend, Baltimore County will celebrate this momentous occasion in Carol Park with an all-day festival called MD EmancipationFest. The Nov. 5 celebration will include honoring and acknowledging those who fought and died to end slavery, as well as fascinating looks at Black history and culture throughout the county and state.
