- Yesterday, Mar. 9, drivers lined up at Sam's Club gas station in Catonsville to get gas for $3.98 a gallon. Nettina Ligon, a driver in the long line, said "we've been in the line for an hour -- that's what I'm willing to do to get the cheapest gas." With gas pricing climbing and varied, one gas station is now $5.19 a gallon. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
- Total Office Telecom, a business serving the Catonsville area, announced a new “Office IT for C19” service which "helps businesses and hybrid workers to seamlessly commute back to the office while still utilizing their existing cloud, collaborative, and productivity apps with ease." Total Office Telecom also offers "managed IT services, business VoIP phone systems, Internet installs, site surveys, data & disaster recovery and office cabling." (Ein News)
- Jennifer Diamantis of Catonsville coordinated over 20 individual landmarks to "go blue" on Mar. 8 and throughout this month for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Both Jennifer's mom and sister passed away from stage IV colorectal cancer, teaching Jennifer "firsthand the importance of awareness, early screening, and patient advocacy, education, and resources, as well as research for effective treatments and cures."
