Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:

  1. On Friday, May 20, Catonsville won the Class 4A varsity softball state quarterfinals 4 to 1 against Urbana. On Tuesday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. number three team Catonsville will play against the number two team Sherwood in the state semifinals. (MPSSAA)
  2. On Saturday, May 21, the Catonsville High School field and track team competed in the North Regional meet at Woodlawn. Catonsville's Myla Abernathy won the Class 4A girls 3,200 meters. (Baltimore Sun)
  3. On Saturday, May 21, the Catonsville boys lacrosse team lost 12 to 7 against Severna Park at the Class 3A state semifinal. Severna Park has ruined a perfect season for Catonsville two seasons in a row. Catonsville ended with an 18-1 mark. (Baltimore Sun)
