Crime Roundup: Armed Robberies on Baltimore National Pike and Frederick Road
The following is a sampling of crimes reported recently in Precinct One of the Baltimore County Police Department.

Jan. 17: At 8:14 p.m., a man walked into the Dollar Tree, located at 5650 Baltimore National Pike. According to police, the suspect threw two candy bars at the cashier. When the cashier started to ring them up, the suspect showed a gun and demanded money. The cashier turned over some cash and the suspect ran away.
Jan 13: At 12 a.m., someone broke into Kings Palace, located at 180 Winters Lane. According to police, the suspect got inside by forcing open a back door. The suspect stole lottery tickets, bottles of liquor and cigarettes.
Jan. 12: At 8:41 p.m., two men entered the Shell Gas Station, located 925 Frederick Road. One of the suspects showed gun and the other jumped over the counter and took money and cigarettes, according to police. The two suspects then ran away.

Jan. 10: At 2:43 a.m., someone broke into the office of Varsity Auto, located at 5625 Old Frederick Road. Once inside the three suspects took keys for multiple vehicles and went into the lot to try to drive some of the vehicles. The suspect used one car to ram the fence on the lot and then several vehicles were taken from the lot. Police were able to obtain surveillance video and all vehicles were recovered.
