Crime Roundup: Attempted Burglary at Video Game Store

Someone attempted to rob a North Rolling Road business by cutting a hole in the roof.

According to police, an alarm was sounded on Thursday, April 21 at 12:30 a.m. at the Game Stop, located at 818 N. Rolling Road. When police arrived and inspected the inside, they found the suspect had dropped a comb and left a footprint on a piece of tile.

Police also found a sledgehammer and pickaxe and a stack of wooden pallets on the side of the building that the suspect used to climb onto the roof. The manager responded and did not find anything stolen from the store.
