Crime Roundup: Several Burglaries in Catonsville
Police are investigating the incidents

The following is a roundup of incidents that occured in Precinct One of the Baltimore County Police Department:
May 22: Police received a report of burglary on the 2000 block of Westchester Avenue in Catonsville. At some time between the previous midnight and 2:30 in the afternoon, and unknown person gained entry into a vacant house by removing plywood from a basement window. Nothing was taken.
May 23: At around 2:25 a.m., police received a report of a burglary on the 5600 block of Old Frederick Road in Catonsville. An unknown person was observed climbing a fence and entering the parking lot of a business. The subject was seen cutting something from under the vehicles. When police arrived, the suspect fled into the field behind Westowne Elementary School. Two catalytic converters were taken, with a value of $300.

May 23: At around 10:20 a.m., police received a report of a burglary at Nunnery Liquor and Grocery on the unit block of Nunnery Lane in Catonsville. An unknown person removed a window air conditioning unit and crawled through the open space. Once inside the business, the person took liquor, cigarettes, cigars and champagne worth a total of $1,044, and left through the window.
May 23: Police received a report of a burglary on the 5100 block of Circle Place in Arbutus. At some point between May 18-23, an unknown person entered a yard and took two car batteries and a Mercury outboard motor, worth a total of $2,160.

May 23: Police received a report of a burglary on the 200 block of Garden Ridge Road in Catonsville. Some time between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., an unknown person entered a residence by way of a broken bedroom window and took a desktop computer and Wii video game console, with a total value of $700.
May 24: Police received a report of burglary at a vehicle storage lot on the 6400-block of Baltimore National Pike. At some time between 9 p.m. on May 23 and 8 a.m. on May 24, an unknown person entered the lot through the front gate and took a 2005 Infiniti. Several other cars had air bags, batteries and other parts removed.
