Updated: Baltimore Sun Reports Police Suspect Son in Death of Russian Woman
Woman went missing in February after she drove from JFK to visit her son in Catonsville.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Maryland ruled last week that the death of a Russian woman who had family in Catonsville was a homicide.
According to Baltimore County Police, Yulia Pogrebenko flew from Russia to JFK Airport in February 23. She rented a car to drive to vist her son in Catonsville, but never arrived.
On June 19, a boater discovered remains in the water south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Anne Arundel County. On August 23, the remains were positively identified as Pogrebenko through a DNA match.

Last week, the medical examiner ruled the death a homicide, according to police. Detectives believe this is a domestic-related crime, but are waiting for information from Russia.
According to the Baltimore Sun, police are investigating Pogrebenko's son, whose last known address was on Maiden Choice Lane. The son is serving a sentence at a detention center in New York for a robbery he committed in Delaware in August.
