Baltimore County residents are pushing back against the Maryland Transit Administration transit proposals to connect downtown Baltimore with Lutherville, Timonium, and Towson by either light rail, subway, or dedicated bus lane service along York Road or Loch Raven Boulevard. The seven proposed routes sparked sharp debate about the loss of lanes for regular traffic along already busy streets. (Mass Transit)
  2. The Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced technologist Mike Fried will be the new CIO of Baltimore County. Fried brings past experience from working as the chief technology and innovation officer for Baltimore city's public library system and as CIO of the city's Health Department. (Government Technology)
