Five Great Catonsville Events Going on This Weekend

Yard sales, art, a pub crawl and a farmers market are all going on this weekend.

Although there is the threat of rain on Saturday, it looks like we have a nice spring weekend ahead of us. There's a lot going on in Catonsvile. Here's our list of the five best things:

1. Friday: .

Where/When: Get your 'preak on' a week early with a horse-racing themed pub crawl that starts at the Seat Hut Inn at 729 Frederick Road at 6 p.m.

Why Go: Your $20 registration fee (to be paid at the door that night) gets you a beer mug and access to all the drink specials of the night. The money raised will go back to various projects in the Catonsville community.

2. Saturday: Yard sales galore.

Where/When: Two yard sales are going on Saturday, sponsored by starting at 8 a.m. at 5 Payson Avenue featuring baby gear, Longaberger baskets and clothes. The is sponsored by from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Inglewood Community between Ingleside and Delrey avenues. is also participating.

3. Saturday: .

Where/When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the located at 501 Frederick Road.

Why Go: After you've filled up the inside of your car with stuff from the yard sale, get the outside cleaned out by students from the Class of 2013.

4. Sunday:.

Where/When: 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind at 703 Frederick Road.

Why Go: The Sunday market is in its second year and will have 20 vendors as well as live music.

5. Sunday: .

Where/When: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bloomsbury Community Center, located at 106 Bloomsbury Avenue.
