German Food at Duesenberg's; Tax-free Week To Begin, and Storms through Friday
Things you should know today in Catonsville.

Deutsch Lebensmittel
That's "German food," such as Wiener Schnitzel and red cabbage, and Duesenberg's American Grille and Cafe in Catonsville has it four times a week.
German dinner is served there every Wednesday through Saturday, according to an article earlier this summer by Eddie Applefeld.
"This has been going on for awhile and appears to be popular," Applefeld said.
This tradition began at Duesenberg's in 2011, when Christa Seiler, a native of Germany, asked the restaurant owners if she could prepare the traditional German recipes she loves so much, according to a Patch article from that year. And it's still going strong.
Read how Seiler's doing these days in an article Tuesday in The Baltimore Sun, and remember, dinner's served from 5:30-10 p.m. at 10 Mellor Ave.

Stormy weather
There could be thunderstorms each this week through Friday, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Catonsville.
We've already had rain today, but there could be thunderstorms after 1 p.m., it states.
During the day and night Wednesday, there's a 50 percent chance of storms, and a 30 percent chance on Thursday. There's a 30-50 percent chance Friday during the day and night, respectively.
