I-695 Widening and Noise Wall Construction Public Meeting Tuesday
Representatives will give a presentation on the road work and answer questions at the meeting.

Maryland State Highway Administration is inviting residents to a public meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 24, concerning two construction projects on Interstate 695 scheduled to begin this year.
One construction project aims to widen the southbound I-695 lane between south of Exit 15, US 40 (Baltimore National Pike), and Exit 13, MD 144 (Frederick Road). A fourth travel lane will be built along this section of the outer loop and improve safety and traffic flow on the highway.
The SHA will also create project designs for future noise barriers along northbound I-695 between south of Exit 15 and Exit 13. Construction for the noise barriers is scheduled to begin Spring 2019 and will take about two years to complete.
