BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from Baltimore County Animal Services.

Kona is a strong boy, so he'll need a dog-savvy and experienced adopter. He's incredibly sweet and loves to cuddle, but he isn't a fan of other animals and should be the only pet in the home. He'll need a fenced-in yard so he isn't distracted by other animals and tries to pursue them. He knows commands such as sit, paw, high five and wait. He's quite smart and cannot wait to head to his forever home.

Cutie pie Kane was surrendered to the shelter after his owner couldn't take care of him any longer. He's been quite social and sweet, and has done well with the other dogs. He loves long walks and can't wait to head to his forever home.

Mitzi is a bit shy at first, but is a very sweet cat in search of a quiet home. She prefers a consistently clean litterbox and appreciates attention.

Despite being 1 year old, Espresso is a puppy at heart and a happy-go-lucky girl. She would benefit from some training classes and would need a dog-savvy adopter to help her be the best doggy she can be. She arrived as a stray, so not much information is know about her and how she interacts with kids and other animals, but she does seem interested in other dogs.

Adorable Lemon arrived at the shelter as a stray, so her history with kids and other animals is unknown. She can be shy at first, but a few treats will help her warm up right away. She doesn't like being picked up, but does enjoy being petted. Her next owner should have experience with cats and be willing to help with slow introductions. Shelter staff believe her personality will shine once she arrives at her new home.

If these adorable adoptables would be the perfect fit for you and your family, visit the shelter's website at https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/animalservices/adoption-resources.html to complete your online adoption application. Once your completed application is received, a BCAS staff member will reach out to you to schedule your adoption appointment.
