- Last week, the Catonsville-based Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities funded nine "sensory stations" at Eyler Road Park in Thurmont. Touch, auditory, and visual elements in each station are designed to stimulate children’s senses. Thurmont Chief Administrative Officer Jim Humerick said, "Even though the sensory stations were designed with children with autism and intellectual disabilities in mind, they’re meant for all kids to enjoy." - Paramount Realty refinanced its Mid-Atlantic portfolio through three fixed-rate loans from Investors Bank, OceanFirst Bank, and Provident Bank totaling $215 million. One of the portfolio’s 30 properties is a retail store housing Super Liquors in Catonsville. (Commercial Observer)
