- A family's home surveillance cameras caught a thief breaking into a Catonsville home and stealing thousands of dollars while the homeowners were sleeping on Dec. 15. After living in Catonsville for ten years, property owner Ahmed Javaid said he never thought he'd see this happen, let alone at a property he manages. A Vietnamese Buddhist Temple on the same street was also hit by a burglar just two days later. Baltimore County police are investigating both robberies, but have not said if the robberies are connected or not. (CBS Baltimore)
- The Baltimore Sun posted its favorite 2022 photographs from the Catonsville / Arbutus Times in the "2022 Catonsville Times Pictures of the Year." Pictures include the first snowstorm of 2022, the Baltimore County softball championship game at CCBC Catonsville, and many more. (Baltimore Sun)
