- Marquel Quincy Matthews-Jackson is back in police custody as of 12:50 p.m. yesterday. Maryland State Police said Marquel had escaped from Spring Grove Hospital in Catonsville on Monday. Police thanked the public in a tweet for its assistance in locating Matthews-Jackson. (WBAL TV Baltimore)
- Catonsville natives Carolyn Moore and her husband tried to trade in her car, but the dealership offered her about $3,000 less than what she was expecting due to a "disabling" car accident listed on CARFAX. Moore said this accident never happened, and she contacted CARFAX. CARFAX confirmed the accident was an error and updated her vehicle history report. Emilie Voss, director of public relations for CARFAX said, " So we do we have data from over 131,000 sources. All of them are vetted, these are trusted sources, but mistakes do happen" and to check the CARFAX report ahead of time if planning to sell or trade-in a car. (WMAR 2 News)
- The Catonsville boys lacrosse team won 8 to 7 against Hereford in the Baltimore County championship game held at Catonsville. Catonsville senior Byron Newman scored four goals for the unbeaten Comets (15-0), including the game-winning goal with only 13.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter. (Baltimore Sun)
