Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:
- Yesterday, Jun. 10, AAA reported the average price of a gallon of regular gas in Maryland was up to $4.994, almost 22 cents more than a week ago. AAA reported that "Maryland is among the top 10 states in the country to experience the largest surge in gas price averages over the last week." In Baltimore, the average price of a gallon of regular gas was $5.001 yesterday. (Maryland Patch)
- Cathy David of Catonsville picked her own strawberries at Larriland Farm on Jun. 8. The farm's pick-your-own fields include strawberries, sweet cherries, and sour cherries for this season. The farm opens its pick-your-own fields in late May and closes after the pick-your-own apple harvest in November. (Baltimore Sun)
- On Saturday, Jun. 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the Free Book Fair will be held in the gymnasium of Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church, located at 2001 Frederick Road in Catonsville.
