Here are the top three stories in Catonsville today:
- Baltimore County, the University of Maryland St. Joseph Medical Center, and the Community College of Baltimore County have formed a workforce partnership called the Public Health Pathways Program. The program is aimed at giving people in poverty a career path in health care. Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski said, "It will connect under-resourced and income-constrained Baltimore County residents with high-demand nursing positions" and offer "full scholarships for financially vulnerable students to participate in CCBC's certified nursing assistant program." - Rookie wideout Dominic Kibby, a freshman on the Presbyterian College football team, earned a first-team selection from Phil Steele. The Catonsville local ended his debut semester with the second-highest yardage per catch average in PC's 15-year D-I history, 796 receiving yards and 975 all-purpose yards. (Presbyterian College)
- On Saturday, Dec. 17, there will be "Cookies, Cocoa and Caroling at the Artful Flea" at 16 Winters Lane in Catonsville. Barbershop quartet Three Wise Men will sing carols at 12:30 p.m. on the porch. Attendees are encouraged to come early to snag cookies and cocoa before the show. (Catonsville Patch)
