  1. On Monday, a federal judge overturned the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's national mask mandate for all forms of public transportation. This decision affects Maryland travelers who use Baltimore-Washington International Airport, along with passengers on Maryland's MARC and Metro trains. People are no longer required to wear masks in public transportation hubs, including airports, bus stations, buses, taxis, airplanes, ride-share vehicles, ships, ferries, trains, and subways.   2. Senior midfielder Sam Jaudon, from Catonsville, scored his first career goal on Saturday while playing for the St. Mary’s College of Maryland men’s lacrosse team. The Seahawks won 14 to 10 against the University of Mary Washington. Jaudon collected a game-best seven ground balls and went 13-of-19 at face-off X. (Southern Maryland Chronicle)
