Orioles Player To Teach Dangers of Texting

Presentation to students and faculty at Catonsville High School on Thursday will include a documentary of families who have lost a loved one who was texting while driving.

Orioles first baseman Chris Davis will be at Catonsville High School Thursday, May 30 to teach students and faculty about the dangers of texting while driving.

It's part of a program sponsored by AT&T called "It Can Wait," according to a news release from the Orioles.

Davis' presentation from noon to 1 p.m. includes a 10-minute documentary of families and students who have lost loved ones because of texting while driving, the release states.
