Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:
- On Saturday, PanCAN PurpleStride Maryland was held at the Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville. The walk raised money for research and awareness to fight pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer survivor Brianna Stumpf, of Windsor Mill, and Jolly B The Trainer welcomed participants to the event. (Balitmore Sun)
- Faidley Seafood, which has a stall at Lexington Market in Baltimore, plans to open a branch in Catonsville. Co-owner Damye Hahn said, "Faidley’s will continue to operate out of the old, east branch of the market until its new home is ready." Faidley's has been there since 1886, when Hahn's great-grandfather opened the stall. (Baltimore Sun)
- Catonsville native Henry Tolker helped the Navy men's lacrosse team win 13 to 6 against Bucknell in the regular-season finale played at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium on Friday night. Tolker scored three goals, including the first of the night. He now has 31 points, and became the fourteenth Navy freshman to reach the 30-point milestone. He is also tied for twelfth place on Navy's all-time freshman scoring list. (NavySports)
