Patch Question: Would You Like to See More Outdoor Seating in Catonsville?

With the warmer temperatures, eating outside is on people's minds. Catonsville has a few outdoor dining spots, but not as many as some other towns. There are decks at places like , and . Smaller locations have also been making use of creative space such as a set of table and chairs outside of and the dining area outside .

In Baltimore County, an outdoor dining area that requires a deck, patio or other type of structure requires a building permit. If an area is proposed to be used is just a space that doesn't require a structure then a zoning permit is required.
