- Yesterday, 25-year-old Jaekwan Jacob Stephens was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of 27-year-old Charles Green and a consecutive five years’ incarceration for use of a firearm. On Aug. 18, 2020, officers found Green with 14 gunshot wounds at the 200-block of Garden Ridge Road in Catonsville. (Nottingham MD)
- After a letter from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 4, Baltimore County Police Chief Melissa Hyatt has issued a response. In the statement, Chief Hyatt said that she is disappointed, but not discouraged. She says that she will hold listening sessions and open forums for members of the police department to voice their concerns about department policies. Read the full statement at the link.
