President Trump is not running the country -- the Heritage Foundation is. Seventy percent of current Trump administration cabinet members have links to groups behind the Heritage Foundation-backed Project 2025.
Trump is a figurehead who signs the executive orders they place in front of him. It is questionable -- based on his ongoing state of confusion -- if he knows or understands what he is signing.
They have learned Trump is an insecure narcissist, and the best way to manipulate him to support Project 2025 is to fawn over him nonstop.
Project 2025 is the GOP's terrifying plan for a neo-Nazi regime. It is fully committed to instituting theocratic, authoritarian rule by a minority of far-right religious radicals.
Kevin Roberts — the head of the Heritage Foundation think tank behind Project 2025 — promised a "second American Revolution" and warned that it would "remain bloodless if the left allows it to be."
The situation is dangerous beyond words.
