- Scott Wykoff reported live yesterday, Mar. 8, about the rising gas prices while standing near a gas station on Frederick Road in Catonsville. Daraius Irani, chief economist at Towson University, said the prices of "everything from airline travel to grocery stores and any petroleum-based products" will continue to rise due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. - The Baltimore St. Patrick Day Parade is scheduled for Mar. 13, after being canceled for two years due to the pandemic. Michael Willis, an administrator at Summit Park Health and Rehabilitation Center in Catonsville, will be the grand marshal and lead the parade down Charles Street. Willis said he was honored and humbled to be chosen and any function that "gets people out and gets people together, can only help us get through this pandemic." (Catholic Review of Baltimore)
