- The Maryland Transportation Authority police are investigating a Nov. 5 shooting on northbound I-95 in Baltimore County. According to police, a dispute between two drivers started near the Outer Loop of the Beltway at Exit 15 and continued onto northbound I-95. The driver of a dark sedan shot at the driver of a silver Ford F-150. The driver of the Ford truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police ask anyone with information on the incident to call the police at (443) 915-7729. (WBAL-TV)
- The Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability is offering to plant trees – free of charge – on residents' properties in Baltimore County. This is a part of Phase II of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Implementation Plan. The plan is to plant large canopy trees which prevent runoff and improve air quality in the region, which will help achieve nutrient and sediment clean-up goals for the Chesapeake Bay. - Dominic Kibby, a Catonsville native, was selected by Hero Sports as a Football Championship Subdivision Freshman All-America member. Kibby currently plays for the Presbyterian College football team in Clinton and is making a name for himself with many achievements and accolades. (Presbyterian College)

- After the ransomware attack on the district in November 2020, many retired Baltimore County Public School (BCPS) employees were charged incorrectly for their healthcare coverage. At the Dec. 6 Baltimore County Board of Education meeting, the district's deputy superintendent announced "debt forgiveness" for some of the retired BCPS employees of up to $2,000. (Fox Baltimore)
