Middle School, High School Kids Can Apply To Serve On BCPS Board Of Selected Students

Middle school and high school students are encouraged to apply to serve on the 2021-2022 Board of Selected Students.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools’ middle and high school students are invited to apply to serve on the 2021-2022 Board of Selected Students (BOSS). BOSS applications are open to students who are not already involved in student council/government leadership at their schools.

BOSS members are asked to share their schools’ views with Baltimore County Student Councils and to collaborate with other student leaders from across the county. BOSS will meet virtually, once a month, throughout the school year. Two students from each middle and high school will be selected.

Students can apply by completing the BOSS application found on the BCSC website. Applicants will need to supply the name and email address of a teacher who will submit a recommendation. Once the application is complete, the committee will send a notification to the teacher to submit a letter of recommendation. Applications are due by Oct. 1.
