Six-year-old Teresa Bartlinski is awaiting her second heart transplant, after her body rejected its first donor heart, and is suffering lung problems.
"Today a huge mountain needs to be moved," her family wrote Sunday on her blog Our Place Called Home. "Teresa's lungs are very messy inside with a lot of fluid surrounding them. Please help us pray for this today. "This will make it very hard for her to survive tomorrow's Berlin heart procedure."
Bartlinski's body rejected her first heart transplant last month, and she has been on life support and an artificial heart.
The Bartlinskis' church, St. Mark's in Catonsville, has been praying for her, according to a report by CBS news.

Her parents, Ed and Ann Bartlinski, adopted her from China, knowing that she needed a new heart.
