Trump's Police State in Washington, D.C. is Misguided

When President Trump deployed 1,000 National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. to allegedly crackdown on street crime, which decreased nearly 30 percent in the past year, he created a situation that resembles the one in repressive North Korea.
He turned our nation's capital into a police state where the government exercises control over its citizens through the pervasive presence of police and security forces, often at the expense of civil liberties and individual freedoms.
Our nation is no longer one that is indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
