Voting Starts Today for Show Us Your Chair Contest

Voting starts today for the Show Us Your Chair contest, a friendly competition that showcases the tradition of residents leaving out chairs along Frederick Road to mark their spot for the Fourth of July parade.

The contest, which is sponsored by Strategic Victory Consulting and the Catonsville Fourth of July Committee, goes until June 23. Businesses, nonprofits and community groups have been decorating chairs that reflect different themes.

Starting today, anyone can go on the website and vote for their favorite chair. Voting is $1 and you can vote as many times as you want. All of the money raised benefits the committee.

The contest is still open and an entry for a chair costs $25.
