Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. The Department of Public Works will repair water valves in the Maiden Choice Lane area of Catonsville. Residents will temporarily be without water from tonight, Mar. 3, at 10 p.m. to Friday morning, Mar. 4, at 5 a.m. Visit the link for a complete list of street blocks that will be affected.   2. On Mar. 1, the Catonsville Comets (the CHS girls varsity basketball team) won their second neutral playoff game 62 to 23 against Perry Hall in the Class 4A North Region I semifinals. Catonsville senior Ashley Dickey scored 33 points, and the Comets "forced 37 turnovers and had seven players with multiple steals." The Comets will play in the regional final today, Mar. 3.   3. Baltimore County reported 130,584 total positive COVID-19 cases as of Wednesday, Mar. 2. The State Department of Health reported 998,888 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maryland as of Mar. 2.
