Here are the top three stories today in Catonsville:

  1. Yesterday, there was a Weather Alert Day due to strong to severe thunderstorms, potentially damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, hail, and possible tornadoes. Today will be a mix of cloudy and some sunshine, with a possible shower or thunderstorm, with a high of about 80 degrees. Sunday and Monday have a high of 80 to 90 degrees with mostly sunny skies - good days for the beach and pool! (Fox Baltimore)
  2. The Baltimore County Public Schools’ 34th Annual High School Art Exhibition features more than 100 artworks by students in Baltimore County. Catonsville High School student Claire Stump won third place for her work, "Untitled," in the awards sponsored by Azrael Franz Schwab Lipowitz & Solter LLC. And Catonsville High School student Connor Smith was given an Honorable Mention for his work entitled, "Self Portrait." The exhibition remains on display through Thursday, Jun. 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Goucher College’s Rosenberg Gallery, located at 1021 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson. (Nottingham MD)
  3. The Catonsville Cooperative Market is open today and Jun. 11, located at 1905 Edmondson Avenue. Howard EcoWorks is having a pop-up Native Plant Sale from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the market. And the first Rolling Brook Yoga CommUNITY Yoga class will start at 10:30 a.m., weather permitting. (Catonsville Patch)
