Update: Amber Alert Canceled for Prince George's County Student

The 9-year-old boy was reportedly found with his mother in Reno, Nevada.

UPDATE (7:15 a.m. Friday)—The Amber Alert was canceled on Friday morning after 9-year-old Wuilbert Caceres Garcia was reportedly found safe in Reno, Nevada, according to WTOP.

The boy was allegedly abducted by his mother, Silvia Guadalupe Garcia. His father has custody.

Wuilbert was taken from Dodge Park Elementary School in Landover, MD, on Thursday morning, police said.

The boy is 4 feet tall and weighs 80 pounds. He was wearing his school uniform—a white polo shirt and blue pants—when he was abducted.

According to reports, Silvia Garcia was driving a 1993 black Mercedes with a Maryland license tag 8AG0407. They were last seen near Landover at about 7:50 a.m.

Anyone with information on the child's whereabouts is asked to immediately call 911 or the Prince George's County Police at 301-352-1200.
