Every 10 years, the city establishes a redistricting commission charged with making minor adjustments to the city's internal boundaries, in order to ensure that each district has equal representation in the city council. The redistricting commission has formulated three potential recommendations. The council will discuss its preference at Tuesday's meeting.

Proposed Sunday Farmers Market at City Hall:
The College Park Farmers Market is currently held on Saturday mornings in the parking lot of the . The council will likely discuss the possibility of moving it downtown.
Adoption of the FY 2012 Budget:
The council will be discussing the final amendments to the proposed fiscal year 2012 budget before it is adopted at next week's council meeting. One of the big sticking points for many residents is the city's plan to purchase . Many residents came forward to object to this plan at a public hearing last week, saying that the move would set a poor precedent and will likely have a chilling effect on any small businesses that seek to move to the area in the future.
Councilwoman Christine Nagle (Dist.1) proposed to strike the impending purchase from the budget. The council will discuss this possibility more Tuesday evening.
