Good morning, College Park! Here's what's worth a look for Thursday, August 8, 2013.
1) WEATHER » Today’s rain might come during the day, but it’s more likely to arrive at night, according to the National Weather Service. There’s a 30 percent chance of rain after 2 p.m. but a 60 percent chance after 8 p.m. Accuweather.com, however, reports that flooding may be possible in streets and areas with poor drainage. Highs during the day will be in the high-80s and evening lows will be in the low-70s. Take a look at the week ahead here.
2) AROUND TOWN » Singer-songwriter Jim Wolf performs today at noon in the Stamp Student Union's north atrium. The event is part of the University of Maryland's Sizzlin' Summer Series.
