Four vendors selling fruit, vegetables, plants and pottery kicked off the city's first Farmers Market in downtown College Park on Sunday morning. Though the vendors are also regulars at Saturday's market in the parking lot of Ellen Linson Pool, they still managed to attract plenty of traffic, much of which was composed of passing residents happy to see that they could buy their fresh fruits and veggies downtown.  The market will be held each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. until the end of summer.
