Howard County Summer Restaurant Weeks 2025: See Over 50 Participating Eateries

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Get ready for a two-week celebration of seasonal menus, signature drinks and exclusive specials during Howard County Summer Restaurant Weeks.

The event runs Aug. 11 through Aug. 24 with dine-in opportunities. Patrons are encouraged to contact restaurants beforehand to check on curbside and to-go order possibilities.

The concept of Restaurant Week originated in New York City in the early '90s, Howard County officials said. In 2008, Howard County introduced its own version of Restaurant Weeks to support and uplift locally owned and operated restaurants during their slower seasons, which typically occur after the winter holidays and around summer vacations.

To date, 55 restaurants are dishing up deliciousness for Howard County Summer Restaurant Weeks.

Organizers noted that the "traditional" Restaurant Weeks continues to offer prix fixe menu prices, such as starting from $15 (or even less) for a two-course lunch and going up to $45 for a four-course dinner. But participating restaurants now have the freedom to create bundles of favorite appetizers, combos and even family-style meal options as part of their offerings.

While the "traditional" Restaurant Weeks continue to offer enticing Prix Fixe Menu prices, such as starting from $15 (or even less) for a two-course lunch and going up to $45 for an exquisite four-course dinner, we have expanded the options available to diners.

Now, participating restaurants have the freedom to create bundles of favorite appetizers, combos, and even family-style meal options as part of their offerings. This enhanced flexibility ensures that there is truly something to suit every budget and taste, allowing everyone to partake in the culinary festivities.
