'Good Kid-izen' Summer Series To Feature Dance Party Saturday

COLUMBIA, MD — Embrace your inner rockstar with a dance party this weekend at downtown Columbia’s Merriweather District.
On Saturday, the 'Good Kid-izen' summer series will focus on music and culture from 10 a.m. to noon.
The kid-focused event will also include a Bollywood dance lesson and wrap-up with some salsa.

Participants can also visit the Kids Corner to enjoy glitter tattoos, giveaways and a splash pad.
The event, which will take place at Color Burst Park at 6000 Merriweather Drive, is free to all. RSVP in advance here.

The 'Good Kid-izen' summer series will wrap up July 23 with a final event focused on street art. Kids can explore their creative side and learn basic drawing techniques, graffiti art letter formations and spray paint techniques.
